February 16th I’ll be joining the delightful @sallylloydjones for an evening of stories and songs in Marion, Illinois. Thanks to @compassion for hosting us! Stories and songs and British accents will abound. Hope you can join us!
And the weekend was capped off with a full-band @scottmulvahill show, featuring @jesseisley on guitar and @brandon_hays on drums. Beasts, all of them. Such a great night.
This weekend we convened another @therabbitroom board retreat, which means two days by a crackling fire in the Chapter House, reviewing, planning, and praying. These good people have been such a wonderful, wise, and gracious boon to this ministry for the last several years. So many good things to come in 2019!
Andrew Peterson and band will be touring this Spring for the second annual Resurrection Letters Tour with opener @TaylorLeon. The tour calendar is filling up, but there are still a few dates open. If you're interested in bringing this show to your town, use the link in bio to submit your booking request.
Even though Christmastime has passed, you can continue celebrating the spirit of the season by catching the entire Behold the Lamb of God show as performed on December 10 at the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville. The stream was so artfully executed by our production team and was a special addition to the 19th year of the tour. If you haven’t purchased a ticket to the livestream, or if you did but haven’t watched it yet, you have until January 31st. Link to the purchase page is in bio! #btlog18
This is how many years this amazing, patient, beautiful, faithful woman and I have been married, as of today. I love her so.
Merry Christmas, from me and my Victrola. Bought this thing at a yard sale for $100 a few years ago. Had to take it apart and repair the spring, but (astonishingly) it works. No electricity! I sleep better at night knowing that after the apocalypse I’ll still be able to listen to Bing.
Our not-quite-awkward-enough attempt at an awkward family photo. “Quick! Let’s just sort of touch the tree.” Merry Christmas from the Petersons.
I recorded this last year in Bethlehem, in what’s called the Shepherds’ Field Chapel—near the very place where the shepherds, watching their flocks by night, were visited by the host of angels proclaiming Jesus’ birth. I set my phone on the altar and we sang “O Come, O Come, Emmanuel.” The stories are true.
Hey, folks! So very honored that the @WingfeatherSaga short film made @iamagco’s list of top ten animated shorts of 2018. We’re in some fine company! Congrats to the amazing team for pulling it off. (Now go watch it on Amazon or YouTube. Then, if you dare, go read the books. Then have some figgy pudding.)
